Such a nice surprise to come across an old travel sketchbook and find these pencil and watercolor captures of the Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin, Germany. It’s a pretty urban square with two identical cathedrals (Deutscher Dom and Französischer Dom) flanking the Schauspielhaus, the theatre.
