2013 East Austin Studio Tour

Posted by Eva Schone on

The first weekend of East Austin Studio Tour was amazing, and we want to thank all of you who made it such a memorable time. It was great to see familiar faces and meet new friends and supporters.

The TROPHYOLOGY studio and our talented neighbors at the Pump Project Satellite greeted a steady flow of visitors. Our EAST guests got a sneak peek at some of our new work and a look at how our awards and milestone gifts are created. It was a major treat to hear feedback like “Now these are the kind of awards you’d want to display.” Encouragements like this are fuel for us and warm our hearts. Thank you.

As you can see, we had some fun with our retro trophy photo booth. Special thanks to Holly & Fernando for arranging the booth and to Kristen of MakeATXfor lending us her treasure chest of awards!

We hope that everyone who stopped by will stay in touch with us. Besides this blog, you can find us at:

We can’t wait to do the whole EAST experience again this weekend. If you’ll be taking the tour Saturday or Sunday, we invite you to visit us. We’re proud to be part of one of the “artist hives” recommended by Austin American-Statesman arts writer Jeanne Claire van Ryzyin. Also, we are just a stone’s throw away from the newly opened Canopy artist colony, which is a must-see stop on the tour. Check out our previous blog for more info on TROPHYOLOGY at EAST and our other recommendations for the tour.

We look forward to seeing you this weekend!
